This Privacy Policy explains what information the Car Interior MS web application (the "App") collects, why, and how it is protected. The App is operated by Ridhi Sidhi Car Covers ("we", "us").

1. What the App is for

The App is an internal tool for our staff. It is used only to:

• manage our stock of car seat cover designs — car companies, car models, design names and codes, and product photos; and
• share seat cover photos with customers on WhatsApp, by creating a ZIP file of selected photos.

The App is not open to the public. Only staff accounts created by our administrator can sign in. It does not sell anything and has no payment features.

2. Information we collect

About staff users

• Name, email address, phone number (optional) and role (admin or staff).
• Password, stored only in encrypted (hashed) form. No one, including administrators, can read it.
• Last sign-in time.
• An activity log of actions taken in the App (for example: design created, photos uploaded, ZIP shared), with the IP address and browser/device details at the time.

About customers (only when staff record an inquiry)

• Customer name and mobile number.
• Car model of interest, notes, follow-up date, inquiry status and which designs were shared.

Product content

• Seat cover photos and catalogue details uploaded by staff. Photos are stamped with their design code.

We do not collect payment details (cards, UPI, bank or wallet information), and we do not intend to collect any sensitive personal data.

3. How we use it

• To let staff sign in and use the App.
• To maintain the seat cover catalogue and stock records.
• To prepare and share product photos with customers on request.
• To follow up on customer inquiries.
• To keep the App secure, investigate misuse and keep a record of who changed what.

4. WhatsApp sharing and ZIP files

When staff share designs, the App builds a ZIP file of the selected photos on our server. The file is deleted from the server as soon as it has been downloaded. Staff then send it through WhatsApp from their own device.

Once a file is sent on WhatsApp, it is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy and terms, and it stays on the devices of the sender and recipient. We cannot recall or delete a file after it has been sent.

The App itself does not read WhatsApp chats, contacts or messages.

5. Cookies

The App uses only the cookies it needs to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a security (CSRF) cookie, and a "remember me" cookie if you choose that option at sign-in. Your browser may also store small display preferences, such as card or list view. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Who can see the data

• Signed-in staff can see the catalogue and inquiries. User management and settings are limited to administrators.
• The App is hosted with a web hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.
• We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information.
• We may disclose information if required by law or by a government authority.

7. How long we keep data

• Staff accounts: until the account is deleted by an administrator.
• Customer inquiries: until they are deleted by staff, or when no longer needed for business.
• Activity logs: kept as a security record for as long as they are needed.
• ZIP files: deleted from the server right after download.

8. Security

Access requires a staff account and password. Passwords are hashed, admin-only areas are restricted by role, and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private and sign out on shared devices.

9. Your choices

Staff can view and update their own profile and password inside the App. Customers whose details were recorded in an inquiry can ask us to see, correct or delete them using the contact details below.

10. Children

The App is for our staff only and is not meant for anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
